Valentine's Gift Guide - St Enoch Centre Glasgow

Over on the food blog we have been doing a few different Valentine's Day posts for both nights in and nights out, you can view them here.  So today keeping in with the Valentine's theme I have a gift guide for you from St Enoch Centre in Glasgow.

Kimbles - Chocolates

These Kimble’s chocolates are handmade perfection in a stunning vintage retro box.  I have never seen such a gorgeous box of chocolates, priced at £26 these are pricier than your average petrol station box but oh so worth it.  Have you ever watched Matilda and Mrs Trunchbull has the chocolates that no-one is allowed to eat; this is what these remind me of.  So perfect and special that they are almost forbidden…. almost!   You really get what you pay for and for a real chocolate lover these are a real treat.  My hubby is more of a chocolate fan than I am so until I took my pictures of these he was constantly "sniffing" around them, so when I finally took my pictures he got stuck right in.  I have only tried a few so far and they were just out of this world and coming from a non chocolate lover this says a lot!  We will be keeping them for Valentine's for a treat so until them; the lid will stay on..... Well that's the plan anyway!

Moriconi Italy

This heart mesh bracelet from luxury Italian jeweller, Moriconi is a really Valentine’s winner for me.  For a guy who really has no idea on what to get his significant other for Valentine's or infact any occasion I think this is perfect.  Priced at £35 this is a great price for such a versatile piece.  It’s delicate and subtle but that’s what I love about it.  I don’t see anyone not liking this and I see this being worn all year round as a reminder of that special someone.  We girls love something with a heart on it so I think even in its delicate appearance this is makes a bold statement.

Arran Aromatics

Candles are my favourite thing to buy.  I love the glowing romantic light and the gorgeous scents.  They can change your mood, bring back memories and remind you of times/places.  This is why I love them so much.  Smells are so powerful that they trigger our brains and associate a scent to a time.  A candle in a glass jar is fine to purchase when it’s for you but when it’s a gift then all the little extra special touches count.  This grapefruit candle from Arron Aromatics ticks all the boxes.  Presented in a gorgeous white embossed box you know just from the outside something extra special is waiting inside.  Inside there is a little box of matches and the etched jar of candle which looks as white as snow, just finished with a little grapefruit label.  Priced at £14.50 this candle is fresh and zesty.  If you are struggling on what to get for your other half then I don’t think you can do much wrong with a gorgeous boxed candle.

The Body Shop

Who doesn’t love an indulgent treat for your skin?  This is the Body Shops chocomania range including rich chocolate scented body butter and adorable heart shape soap.  The body butter smells divine and exactly like a chocolate fudge cake, be careful not to lick it off your arm!  If you have a smaller budget and still want to impress then for £7 for the soaps and £13 for the body butter it would be hard to go wrong with either of these options and I know it would get a big thumps up!
