|Lush Mask of Magnaminty £5.25 for 125g*|
When at the Fabb Event I was lucky enough to receive this lush mask in my goodybag and at the time this was my first ever Lush product so I was excited to try. As I said in my Fabb post, Lush had always overwhelmed me and was never on my radar so when I spotted the Lush Buchanan Street girls there I knew it was the perfect opportunity to have a one on one chat and see some of the goodies they had to offer.
Mask of Magnaminty is described as;
A multi-purpose mask with a mixture of gentle yet effective ingredients to fight breakouts. Easily smoothed over the skin, this mask is made with peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin; evening primrose seeds and aduki beans to gently exfoliate as you remove it.
Bentonite Gel, Kaolin, Honey, Talc, Ground Aduki Beans, Glycerine, Evening Primrose Seeds, Peppermint Oil, African Marigold Oil, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, *Limonene, Perfume, Chlorophyllin, Methylparaben
*occurs naturally in essential oils
Being an oily acne prone skin gal when I read this I was super excited to try as it's not often you receive an item in a goodybag that is perfect for you, bonus!
Inside the tub is a bright green thick slightly chunky paste which is different to what I am used to in a mask, so it did worry me a little but those feelings disappeared quickly.
After a busy weekend I thought Sunday evening would be the perfect time to try this out so after washing my makeup off and drying my face I applied this in a thin layer on my face, went downstairs and let it do its magic for 10 minutes. When you first apply it has a wet feeling but it soon dry's and then it almost sets on your face. While it was working I didn't feel any discomfort at all, just felt it getting tighter as it set. I then washed off and was left with gorgeous smooth skin. I have since used it multiple times and my skin loves it! The mask lasted about 2 months so as it is now out of date, next time I'm in Lush I will be picking another one up.
