My New Year's Eve Outfit, Hair and Makeup

It's not often I get the chance to proper glam it up so New Year is the perfect opportunity so this year i'm going all out.

First I was looking for the perfect dress, last year I had a full length dress and I wanted the same again but just couldn't find anything that I liked so I had been following chi chi clothing on twitter for a while and I am partial to their twitter competitions so decided to have a look on their site and I must say I was very impressed.  I spotted a few dresses but was sold on the raven dress, a nude and black lace top with a black skirt.  They were offering free Saturday delivery so popped it in my basket on Friday and as promised was delivered on Saturday.  When I opened the parcel I was very impressed with the quality of the dress, especially for the price.  The top part is really sturdy with a structured top so nice and secure, not flimsy at all.  Then the star of the show, the skirt.  The picture online didn't do it justice as the skirt is absolutely fab!  With an underskirt I did truly feel like a princess when i tried it on, it is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable.

with the dress being quite a statement I didn't want overshadow it with lots of bling so when Glitzy Secrets asked me if I wanted to style a piece of their jewellery I knew it would be a nice addition to the dress.  The enchanting bangle is a gorgeous silver tone bangle features a sparkling Austrian crystal garland of petite flowers, leaves and winding stems. Inspired by diamond jewellery worn by the 1940s Hollywood Starlets.
