John Frieda is a brand that I have only used once, it was the frizz ease range but I didn’t get on well with it, it weighed my hair down and left a film on my hair which I don’t like so I can keen to try different ranges from the John Frieda range.
The full repair range is described as a hydrating formula, with Inca Inchi Oil rich in omega-3, rescues hair from the look and feel of damage as it nourishes strands with lightweight moisture to restore softness and shine. Repairing my blonde hair is what I am always trying to aspire to and with all these claims I was keen to get started.
John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate and Rescure Shampoo and Conditioner
This is a really nice shampoo and conditioner range. I really like this lightweight shampoo, it did not weigh my hair down at all and made my hair feel nice and soft, hydrated and still manageable. Having blonde hair I need a good conditioner, I need it to put moisture back into my hair and this conditioner from the full repair range certainly did this. After the first use of this range I could already see it was starting to repair my blonde hair.
John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow Dry Lotion Root BoosterI am usually a bit wary of putting products straight onto my scalp as my hair is so fine that it usually weighs it down and makes it heavy and greasy. After using the shampoo and conditioner I sprayed this onto my roots and brushed through, careful not to use a lot, just sprayed some on my crown and parting and once dried I did see a difference in the thickness of my hair and without weighing it down. I was really pleasantly surprised with this, as I said I am always worried about using this type of product but I am really happy with it and will be a staple now in my daily hair care.
John Frieda have a competition running just now to win a whole host of goodies so be sure to check out their facebook page for this, see their page here. Competition ends 28th October.
