Festival Hair Part 1 with Beauty Works

Beauty Works Messy Bun £29.99*

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Beauty Works to create some festival hair looks using their messy beehive bun and plait hair band. When I typed up this post I had never been to a festival before but then a little unexpected 4 days notice invite to T in the Park changed all of that! This look and part 2 was created before I went to TITP.

Part 1 is showing some styles using the beehive bun.  This was one of these scenarios when I didn't know where to start and then once I did I couldn't stop! To pair up with this bun I also used a flower headband from Primark for £2 it was a bargain and very festival I say.

First hairstyle I created was a mid length bun with plaited front section.  Out of all the looks I created this took the most time but given that the bun is already to go for you then it still only took a few minutes. I pulled my hair back into a mid length pong leaving the front section of my hair out of the pony.  Once my hair was in this pony I wrapped it round itself creating a little bun, I then inserted the Beauty Works BeehiveBun using the 2 combs inside and then secured using the drawstring, this is perfect as you can tighten as you require.  I then took the front sections and plaited them into my head, secured with a bobby pin and took the flower headband and wrapped it around the base of the bun, really simple but also very "festival" I say!

My second look using the Beehive bun was really similar to above apart from I took the plaits out and took the headband from around the base of the bun to the top of my head.  I really love this look, the big statement floral headband at the front is very boho and I really enjoyed wearing it.

If this bun isn't your style then they have a few other different types of buns to choose from and all type of amazing hairpieces, have a look at their website for more great deals.

With these Beauty Works extension pieces you can really create some gorgeous quick effortless styles, I am after a pony tail next!
