MUA Fur-Effect Nails

2012 was the start of some new nail trends and already 17 days in 2013 more are already popping up.  Texture nails are everywhere and when I spotted fur-effect nails from MUA I had to get my hands on it.

If you are new to nail art and are looking for a simple effect to jazz up a basic manicure then this is it.

The fur-effect nails come in a little tub which has a shaker tray in it but I found this difficult to use as only the smallest amount comes out that way, so you can thankfully remove this tray and then you have the full pot to dip your fingers into with ease.

You apply your polish as normal and when still wet dip your finger into the fluff, pull out and leave for around 30 seconds and ta daaaa, done.  I applied a similar pink colour to all my nails but think if you did an accent colour it would really stand out.

Cant wait to get my hands on more colours, really adds something special to any outfit.

Have you tried any fur-effect nails?

  4. Oh gosh that's so weird haha! I think touching them would make me cringe as I hate felty cotton wool feels! Is it a pain to remove or rather easy?

    1. I really like them, no, they dont feel like cotton wool, I hate the feeling of this to. It was ok to remove, I put my hands in water first then it removed fine xx

  5. wow how cool is that!!?? i have this issue with texture so i would be cringing at my nails all day everyone would think i was a freak the faces i would be pulling lol. This reminds me of candy floss x

  6. Is it much different from velvet nails? I saw this the other day and considered it but I have lots of flock pots so didn't know if it was worth spending the money if they are similar.
