Christmas Wishlist #1

After seeing the gorgeous Kayleigh's post (you can view it here) on a great list generating site I thought I would create my own.  I think you should always have a vision and then it has a better chance of coming true  (ahh a girl can dream eh!) so here is what I am lusting after just now and maybe my lovely husband will spot the list which I will accidentally leave open on screen for him and buy me everything!

You can create your own list here - http://www.beautysets.com

NOTD - 2True Shade52

Fave Posts #1

Fellow Scot lass Lynne did a wonderful blog post yesterday on posts she is loving just now so thought I would do a similar thing and make it a weekly thing!

I decided to keep it to under 5 posts and when you follow about 70 blogs, that is just a teeny bit difficult!

So here is the posts this week I am loving;

MUA Eye Primer Review

MUA is a really great affordable makeup brand stocked online and in Superdrug but unfortunately this eye primer does not seem to be available anymore :(

This is the first eye primer I have ever purchased so I don't have anything to compare it with but based on my thoughts, I love it.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Colour Freeze Review

I have recently been testing out proper good quality shampoo's, mainly silicone and sulfate free to see if I it makes an improvement in my hair.

For my birthday this year my mum picked me up the Loreal Ever Pure range of shampoo, conditioner and treatment mask.  This was my first time using a nasty free range and I was happy with it but this Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Colour Freeze range is what my hairdresser uses on me and she told me a few months ago that this is the best shampoo for colour blonde hair so I was on the look out for it ever since.

It is described as;
A rich formula for damaged and dull colour-treated hair. Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Colour Freeze Shampoo restores over-processed coloured hair.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Colour Shampoo is also suitable as a post colour shampoo for dry, porous and damaged hair.

NOTD Essie Lights

It's official I love Essie! 2nd time I have used the brand since getting the great deal at fragrance direct last week.

This colour is called lights and the images with the flash on show it better than without, its almost a neon Barbie pink, gorgeous colour, really happy with it, don't own anything else like it.

First post I did on Essie you can find here.

The shine and gel like quality is amazing, my off the shoulder mani lasted me 5 days with no chips, which is a record for me! On my nails it feels so smooth and silky and like its staying put!

You can get Essie from Fragrance Direct and Boots.

Revlon Lipbutters Review

I remember the hype that surrounded these before they came out here but then once they arrived I actually don't remember hearing much about them. Last week I was in Boots and while admiring the Revlon just bitten stains I spotted them.  I actually didn't expect the colour to be so bold and plentiful but I was happily surprised!

NOTD Essie Off The Shoulder Review

Essie has been a nail polish brand that I have lusted after for a while but the £8 price tag put me off to be honest.  Well not so much put me off but I was hesitant to pay this price when I can get Rimmel, Maybelline and Models Own for much better value.

Then last week the lovely Holly Arabella tweeted that fragrance direct were some new shades for £1.99 so I literally jumped of my chair to pick some up!

I picked up lights, off the shoulder and cascade cool;
Last night decided to try them out and opted for off the shoulder, its a mix between and pink and coral.  Depending on the light the shade can look so different but on the nails its a gorgeous colour

I am really happy with the coverage and quality of Essie and will be looking out for more deals on them.  All these 3 shades are no longer available from fragrance direct but you can still get them from Boots.

Have you used Essie before?

Tangle Teezer Review

I had spotted this little beauty from afar for a while and one stressful lunchtime decided to pop over to boots and guess what happened! A bit of an emotional purchase I know but now I couldn't live without it and wonder why it took me so long to buy.

It is described as: The Tangle Teezer’s unique teeth configuration delivers rapid, pain-free detangling as well as polishing hair for high shine.

NOTD - Models Own Jade Stone

Todays nail of the day is Models Own Jade Stone, a gorgeous pale green minty shade from there ice cream sundae range.  This is the first I have worn this and I love it.  Most of my nail collection is brights as I think they always brighten up my mood and I love to wear these shades all year round.

Fake Bake Mousse Review

Wanting gorgeous glowing sun kissed skin is something we all lust after right?
The thought of fake tanning usually brings me out in a sweat but when I actually get round to doing it I soon realise that it doesn't take much time at all and I think why did I fuss about it??

My Makeup Storage

A great makeup storage system is worth its weight in gold I say.  When you don't have one and all your pretty things are lying around everywhere it can cause complete chaos, trust me I know!

Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo

My dry shampoo love!

Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo

I have tried various types and brands of dry shampoo and this is by far my favourite, as I have fine, limp hair I need every inch of volume I can get!  This is just like the normal formula of Batiste dry shampoo but with added powder to give the XXL volume, probably like the dust it powders you get for your hair.  So basically this is an all round perfect product for me.  I typically have greasy hair but this can see me through a few more days which is perfect for days when I'm a bit lazy..whoops!

Empties October

My first empties post, yay!!

I actually didn't think I had many empties until I went through all I had and noticed a few empty ones
 in my stash.

Left to right they are:
Garnier ambre solaire, Batiste dry shampoo, Witch foaming wash, Clinique moisturiser, Lee Stafford hair that doesn't grow past that length, Tresemme hairspray, Witch face wipes.
